Denis Boryslavsiky, 5 yo
Denys, a five-year-old boy, faces a range of serious health challenges, including West syndrome, cerebral palsy, optic nerve atrophy, and autism. He takes three anticonvulsant medications daily to help manage seizures.
He loves music and various sounds, which allow him not only to play but also to explore the world in a way that is more accessible to him. He also enjoys water and regularly participates in swimming sessions.
Denys attends sensory therapy, as well as sessions with a psychologist, speech therapist, and physiotherapist. These activities help him better understand the surrounding world and develop social and communication skills. During music therapy sessions, he has started producing many new sounds.
The introduction of Tomatis Method Therapy is being considered. This therapy focuses on improving auditory perception by activating and training the ear muscles responsible for sound reception and sensitivity to different sound frequencies. It can support the development of auditory attention and improve speech comprehension in children. The therapeutic process consists of several stages. Financial support is needed to make this therapy possible.
